I have to have a lumpectomy!!

I am happy and scared at the same time.  Well, I went and seen the surgeon regarding the lumps in my armpit next to the breast.  He said that he could order a CT scan or a MRI but that is going to just show him that there is a lump, but won't tell him what it is....so the only things is to have a lumpectomy and then he will send it out to be tested.  This will take place Monday 1/26.  I am happy to have this done and over, but I am soooo scared of what they might find.  Please continue praying for me.  Thank you all for your kind words and support.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  I know it's a scarey time but God will bring you through it, keep the faith! 

We will be having surgery the same day......  I have a hamartoma in my left breast and it is quite large that they will be removing.  for whatever reason I keep getting infections so they want to take it our before it becomes something it shouldn't.  I am not afraid of the surgery, I am more afraid of what I will look like afterwards, but I too will get through it!

I will also be happy that it is done and over with as well!  It's been an emotional roller coaster that I want off!  hehehehe

Jean,  I miss you lady!!!  I am sure you're getting ready for your plastics.  How exciting.  I was approve to have a breast reduction and lift, but I have to get this stuff taken care of first.  I got a call from Katzen's office the other day and said that I have to have my surgery before 3/31/09 or they will have to resubmit the paper work for approval again....Things are just happening so fast!!!

Jeni,  You're are right....keep the faith.  I was talking to a friend the other day and telling her that I have to have a lumpectomy and she said "how do you stay so calm" I just told her that I have faith and there are some things that are out of our hands and we just have to ride it out.  I will also keep you in my prayers.

You know that you are in my prayers everyday.  Keep positive thoughts, that is so important.  The procedure will be over before you know it and I will prayer that this all turns out of be a false alarm.
